ImageJessica Piedra, a second year law student of UMKC, was chosen as a recipient of $1,000.00 2006/07 TranslationPerfect.com scholarship. Jessica is an outstanding person, a mother of two wonderful kids and is fluent in Spanish.

 Kansas City, Missouri
I assist the attorney with the preparation of immigration cases focusing on employment based non-immigrant and immigrant petitions.  I also work on our pro bono asylum case as well as family cases.  I research applicable law, proofread documents, and prepare forms and supporting documentation.  I provide interpretation of consultations and translation of correspondence for our Spanish-speaking clients.
