Court Interpreting DOs and DON'Ts Seminar - July 7, 2006

ImageTranslationPerdect.com Interpreter Training Academy - Court interpreting seminar is scheduled for July 7, 2006.  This session will be 1 hour and 30 minutes long.  Seminar will cover basic aspects of court interpreting, procedures and policies, situations from the real life with step by step analysis.  Technology review with some equipment available on the spot to try in action.  

Guest speakers are Leyla Galmarini McMullen, Attorney at Law and Mira Mdivani, Attorney at Law.  Before becoming attorneys, both Leyla and Mira majored in foreign languages and worked as professional interpreters for courts and attorneys. Now they deal with clients and situations often involving the need for interpreting in their legal work. They will share their insights from both a professional interpreter and attorney's point of view.
