Commonly used medical terms and their description. While most of the doctors provide very good description of the procedures and treatments, professional terms are still often used to describe very simple things. The glossary is recommended for translators and interpreters working with doctors and non-English speaking patients. Most of the terms are used by social workers conducting assistant living reviews and assesments. Disclaimer: this glossary may not be used as a reference. |
